Ordering & delivery information - The Organic Wool Shop, at Tamarisk Farm, Dorset

How to order your undyed organic wool

On the Shop page you will find listed all the yarns we have available at present, with a swatch beside each to show the colour and texture. If you click on this or the name more details about that yarn will open in a new window, including a better photo, some background and usually a link to an illustrative photo.

Back on the shop page you can then enter the number of balls you require of each type and add them to your Shopping Basket'. When you are happy with your selection, follow the links to the checkout page to make your payment, either with a card or a PayPal account as you choose. Alternatively, although we can't take payments over the phone, you can send us an order with a cheque or call into the Farm Shop if you are in range.

If you have a project in mind, or if you need ideas or encouragement to develop one, you may find the tips page or the Projects & Samplers Gallery helpful to work out which yarn is most suitable, what size needles or hook to use and how many balls you might need.

All balls have a batch number on the wool band and it is always worth keeping a note of this so that you can match it exactly if you need more. We recognise the difficulty of colour-matching with a computer screen so we can send a sample if you send a stamped-addressed envelope. Please also check our returns procedure.

Photos of samplers and finished projects can be found here - Projects & Samplers Gallery, with more being added as we can. We hope you will send us yours to help encourage others!

If you are struggling with this site please feel free to contact us and we will talk you through it!

For a full refund, all the balls must be intact and in the original packaging, and you will have to pay the return postage.
